Atop a headland and overlooking the Atlantic, this majestic lighthouse is truly unique. You may see lighthouses in many amazing places, but you will never see a lighthouse that is as beautiful and historic as this one. Its Roman origins can still be experienced as you walk into the lighthouse and visit its foundations. The building that stands today is... More

This is the number 1 place to visit, during your time in A Coruna! It is the oldest working lighthouse in the World. It has a beautiful path in and around the grounds with lots of sculptures and statues to see. You can go inside for a small fee, but it is Free on Mondays.

One of the scheduled stops with tours4cruisers. Beautiful, scenic views. Amazing history. There is a small charge €2 Euros to enter the monument, but the views from outside are breath taking. Outs worth the walk to the base of the monument

the real beauty lies in the painted landscape that face the deep, pounding Atlantic. It is a wonder, to think this Roman remains still lights the way for those who are brave enough to ride the deep greyish blue waters of the north sea.

The lighthouse is advertised as the oldest existing lighthouse in the world and it certainly has a fantastic tale to tell. There is an interesting exhibition at ground level and then you can climb right to the top. Certainly, you have to pay a reasonable price for the experience, but the views from the top are wonderful and there is... More

This impressive 1 st Century lighthouse stands out as a must see in Coruna . It is surrounded by grass lands and the sea. It was a long walk from the city but worth every step. Very impressive and the oldest lighthouse in the world.

The tower is the symbol of the town. Very well conserved. You need to pay a ticket if you want to go to the top of the tower. The small park area around the tower is hiding nice spots to observe the ocean and the sunset.
