Beautiful Tarragona has so much to offer and provides glimpses of how the people lived in Tarraco. The story would not be complete without a trip to the Necropolis. It took us a little while to find the museum and parking was difficult but we...More

Good explantory exhibition when you first go in. Unfortunately, most of it was in Catalan (can manage Castillian but not Catalan). However, the lovely helpful chap on reception gave me a book in English, and also answered a few questions I had. Vissited on a...More

The museum has a lot packed into a small area. You start with displays on the history of the site and artifacts. There is a nice set of laminated booklets you get from the staff that translates the displays into several languages (I saw French,...More

Interesting experience of the dark world of death an tombs. Cryptic tomb was the most interesting. Very few people and deserted attraction, perhaps a bit far from the old town. Ticket is free if you buy a ticket to Archaeology museum.

Totally fascinating. A short introduction with photographs and video within the museum then outside the amazing exhibitits revealing the paleochristian burial practices from 1st and 2nd centuries and the lay out of a Roman villa with unknown history. A full half day
