Great place to visit. You can access the roof and look over the town and over towards the harbour. Steep stairs but there is a lift some access for disabled is available also.

Beautiful building, short informative introductory film about Tarraco/Tarragona available in several languages, a wide variety of exhibits so everyone should find something to interest them, and well lit displays. We particularly enjoyed the mosaics and glass. Spent around an hour there.

Staff very helpful. Lots of excellent free information in English and other languages. Several floors of good exhibits, some fantastic individual items and fantastic mosaics. Well worth the two hours spent there.

This is a nice compact museum spread over three floors, giving a peak into the development of various art forms of the Roman times. It has a unique small Romantic museum within it, well worth a visit! I was reminded of the sculptures of Khajuraho,...More
