Museum built over 4 floors with a film in several different languages explaining Roman Tarraco. There are several good mosaics. Some of the descriptions are in Spanish/Catalan but not English.

If you are in Tarragona the museum is well worth a visit. It includes excellent examples of statues/mosaics and artefacts from Roman Tarraco. The ticket is 4.50 euros and also gives you entrance to the Necropolis museum.

The permanent exhibition was Roman objects such as columns, mosaics and statues, and although many of them have been damaged over the years, they were still complete enough to be interesting.. When we were there, the museum also had a temporary exhibition regarding Tarragona's experiences...More

Really worth a visit and spending time. Great layout and artefacts galore. The mosaics are stunning and so are the glass, bone and metal objects.
