Long stretch of beaches. Water temperature in summer is just perfect. Not the best facilities though, for example no proper ablutions; limited temporary toilets which did not look very inviting.

We spend most of our time in this area during our visits to Sitges. It is the central meeting point for many of us.

Sitges is a very pleasant city. This is one of the main thoroughfares, and a lovely walk in the sun, or an evening stroll.

If by enjoying the beach you mean taking a bath, water in january and even in march might be a too cold. Walking by the passeig is nice if weather is fine, I mean sunny. Same way goes the beach.

Very easy. Take the train from Barcelona Sants or Passeig del Gracia to Sitges. Or from the airport, changing at El Prat de Llobregat. Cheap and trains on the suburban Sitges line are around every 15/20 mins.
