This is an understated and yet significant and beautiful cathedral. It doesn't get much mention in tourist brochures but it is definitely worth a visit to understand what Girona is about

Even without the GOT exposure or fame a visit to the Girona Cathedral should be on your list when visiting the city. It's a beautiful structure. It also has a museum that you can visit.

The stairs must be climbed. You can do it! Better in the morning before the heat.

Not to the cathedral. The train does go up to other locations so would save that walk
