It was late at night, but this wonderful man showed us the 12th century synagogue, gave us cold water, a little history, and a very special present. I saw a kippah with both my name and my Papa's name on it and he gave it...More

Such a beautiful area to walk around full of cobbles streets, hidden corners and winding steps - well worth a visit.

Great place to walk through the historical part of the Old Town area. There are many authentic shops to buy items related to the area. Plenty of great places to eat in this area as well.

There are many alleyways and historic places to see as you wander around the old area. The steps leading up are inviting and they have an excellent Jewish museum with heaps of information of how they lived right through until they were finally driven out...More

We enjoyed the narrow street of cobblestone, the ancient buildings towering over. This is a peaceful part of old Girona and a time to reflect on the people who traversed it's walkways in an earlier time.

Save some time to get lost in those magical streets that seems to be a labyrinth! It was the most beautiful area of the city including the bridge also. Ask for the locals where are the exactly areas where they filmed Game of Thrones. It's...More

Lots and lots of steps. (most of them seem to be up, but can't really be! Some of them used in scenes from Game of Thrones

It's a very interested tour. The street remain like 500 years ago. You walk the narrow street you can see the real building. There is one st that you can still see the gate that closed the quarters to prevent the Jews to escape

We were lucky enough to rent an apartment right in the middle of the old Jewish quarter. Fascinating to see how the old Jewish houses were kept but newer properties built over the top. Great for atmospheric photos.

There is a very big free carpark on the Carrer Berenguer Carnicer. It is 5 minutes walk from the Old quarter (via the foot bridge) 41.9871608,2.8219937,17z
