This huge hall of the palacio Reial held both guest functions and even horse parades for the Royal Court. Massive columns and arches with weight going down into Roman ruins below

Palau Reial Major (palace of the Counts of Barcelona) was built in the Middle Ages. And this grand hall was added in the mid-14th century. It was used for INDOOR military horse parades and grand receptions. The stone archways holding up the roof are HUGE....More
