Although not one of Barcelona's most famous plaza's, Placa San Miguel is home to this absolutely intriguing piece of street art. Although at first glance it looks like the wire from a used bottle of champagne it is in fact a monument to thelCastellers of...More

Very creative representation of the castells (human towers). It encouraged me to read into this more and the history/story behind the towers was very interesting. Not much to look at unless you’re willing to read up on it though.

If you wander somewhat if the gothic Barrio you may pass this art. It is nice but certainly not worthwhile a detour

Very ugly and not very representative for the castellers world. I could tell you as a casteller de la Vila de Gràcia.

I came across this interesting structure in one of the squares in the Gothic quarter when I was looking for the Tourist Office. It is rather high and not sure what it represents.

I'm not a big fan of modern art, but this is rather interesting piece. Worth seeing, especially since it's in the centre, very near to the main Cathedral. Take a drink and relax in nearby cafes.

Plenty of restaurants around the monument, very nice area. The "kiss burger" next to it has great burgers and beer. Sometimes there are street singers. Nice.

It's cool to see any city with so much street art. This is a cool piece. Reading other reviews makes me think that perhaps I dont understand the story behind it or I may be more impressed. I wouldnt say put it as a destination...More
