Placa del Rei located inside Gothic Quarter has historical significance upon Colombus successful return from North America. The medieval structures around the square are more impressive at night time with the illumination being lid up.

Placa del Rei (place of the king) is part of of Barrio Gotico and always worth a visit. You will see a beautifull Gothic Neighborhood already on your way to the placa. And the place itself is surrounded by lots of history besides its own.
