I was on my way to Barri Gotic along the waterfront and ran across this large and colorful sculpture. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see it but if you're in the neighborhood...why not!

Right on the harbour front... you can't miss it. Big, bold and beautiful. Great for a selfie! Lovely on a sunny day just walk along the front.

As you walk around the waterfront in Barcelona you will inevitably come across this. It is quite a modern piece, doesn't have any deep meaning or historical value but it's interesting to look at anyway.

The statue is great, overwhelming even, but should be relocated. This is just a meaningless filling of a void in the city.

This is one of those "things" you'll find when walking in Barcelona. If you are near Port Vell you'll find this face, made by Roy Lichtenstein and Diego Delgado. It's worth a visit if your nearby.

If you see the sculpture when coming from the city you know you are nearly at the beach ;) It is colourful and matches this happy city and gives good orientation.

One of the things I love about Barcelona is its public art and its willingness to not be shackled by historic convention. However, this piece simply is in the wrong place. It is inconsistent with the numerous other historic properties surrounding it. While it is...More

This is one of those weird looking modern sculptures that one can see from afar but cannot take ones eyes off it to take in what it is and stands for It is worth seeing just to stand in awe at its size and design
