Bought 2 day ticket for 3 people online before leaving for Barcelona. I wish I had waited until I was there. Initial exchange of voucher was OK but that is where the positive ends. Journeys were slow and traffic bound. To make matters worse after getting off to walk to a stop part way through the day as traffic bad... More

My hotel recommended Barcelona Bus Turistic and I'm so glad. This is a great hop-on-hop-off bus service. I bought a 2-day pass and went everywhere I wanted. The buses come about every 5 minutes so I never had to wait for very long. The audio was great and very helpful, it comes in dozens of languages.

Perfect way to see the city easily. Stops at all the important places and gives you insight to everyday life as you pass between stops. Headphones are flimsy, between 4 of us we went through 10sets in 2 days. Would advise skipping the green route, it's a waste of time thete's nothing worth seeing at all

I don't usually take hop-on-hop-off buses, because they are a bit "expensive" and not worth it. But we were tired of walking and wanted just to sit and see the city. So we thought this was a good idea. The price wasn't bad either. We went on a Saturday. The buses go very often, and the personnel on the bus... More

Long queues at popular locations. Not worth the money. I wish I'd spent the cash on taxis instead. Commentary moderately interesting

We only visited the city for a few hours as we're on holiday 50mins away and decided good use of time was the bus tour. Ok price for what we got which was a good tour highlighting some facts about the city. We hopped off and on a few times but struggles a few times to find the bus stops... More

We bought a 2-day pass to do all three routes and get a feel for Barcelona on our short trip. We could have done with just a one day pass and used public transport. The Blue and Green Routes are BORING. Blue route took over 2 hours, much being stuck in traffic. There was little commentary and what there was... More

We booked a 2 days pass for the buses, thinking it would be a nice way to discover the city. The buses run along 3 routes, green, red and blue. It was convenient for us as the green route ran past our hotel, so we used the buses to get into town. The first thing is that the time between... More

Bus Turistic offers three routes - red, green and blue. We had a two day pass and this was great to see everything - it might be a bit packed to get everything into one day. The three routes cover a large part of the city. Although we were using the service over the Easter period, so it was very busy, the buses were frequent and never had to wait very long. Getting a 'senior' discount and being able to book online before travelling are definite bonuses.
