Neighbourhood: El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

I love the way that this gallery has found a way to produce something more than just a photo of the places you’ve visited and loved in Barcelona. We found a few of our favorite restaurants featured in these 3D photo boxes and visited the gallery almost every time we walked past, each time discovering something new. I’ve never forgotten this place and I’m sure I’ve forgotten quite a lot about BCN since U left. I wish I’d bought more items.

The 3-D postcards are one of our favorite souvenirs. This is a cave of treasures you won't find anywhere else. Well worth a stop.

Close to all the pieces in this shop are sloppily ripped off from well-deserving artists! The art inside is poorly made, the service was well below average, and the man who runs the shop has made a number of threats against other artists since he wishes to profit off of their work. STAY AWAY.

Not only they steal art but their customer service is below awful!!! Email not working, deadlines not met, constant chance from the client to get the work done and ultimately backing out is the only option. Had to get my money back because I had to leave and it was only then I became aware of the artist stolen by them. Just browse the reviews

Galleria Maxo steals artwork and does not credit the artists. They do not merit my patronage nor anyone else's.

I had happened to come across the website of Galería Alea while researching for my trip in Granada, and thought it looked a different and interesting space so i made sure it was in my intinerary. I am very glad it was. Galería Alea has a bit of everything and something for everyone, from their charming vintage toys to their beautiful original art pieces. This is a must visit for anyone with a trip planned to Granada and I shall certainly be making a return visit when I am next in this stunning Andalusian city.

They plagiarize work from other independent artists, sign them as theirs. We have tried to flag them, sue them, but they still get profit. No art, pure business. Please don’t support this place!

There is not a honest hair growing on this mans body. Selling artwork that other people create and then claiming that they are his. I wonder how many of the artworks that truly are his? Not for a pleasant experience..
