This is a great place to visit. The museum is informative and educational. The explination are not really in English but you kinda get the idea. There's interactions for everyone of all ages to get involved in. I got too excited over jumping on the...More

If you like history, this is one not to miss. Well preserved Roman ruins with a very informative audio-guide and short videos to demonstrate what life would have been like at the time. Interesting to hear about how the fish sauce was made and see...More

It was one of my favourite museums in Europe. Museu d'Historia de Barcelona doesn't seem like much from the outside. Unassuming when you first take the elevator two stories down. Yes, it was just an old Roman brick wall you're looking at. But once, you've...More

Nice museum which explains well the early history of Barcelona. Not very interactive though and only some information is available in English. The best part is the underground where you can see ruins from Roman times.

Very interesting museum documenting the 3000 year history of this city with actual access to excavated Roman structures 2 stories down. As usual here, get the audio tour device. Highly recommend.

Average museum, half of the descriptions are only in Catalan and Spanish so not very tourist-friendly.

Unique experience visiting the Roman ruins underground. The site has been preserved nicely and it is easy to picture the Roman times while here. Great for history buffs!

We went into this museum on a whim and were blown away! We had just come from Italy, and this display of Roman ruins rivals much of what we saw in Rome itself. The price of this museum was well worth it, and the free...More
