This attraction offers a nice view of the harbor and city. Only drawback was a long q getting on at the harbour end (60 minutes). There was no q at the other end!

I don't know if China Myeville has been effectively inspired by these cable line towers, but from a distance they looked precisely like Perdido Street station to me. What an architectural feat! Great fun to (sort of) step inside the famous novel! A truly vintage...More

The cable car in Barcelona has been there for ages and you cannot miss out on the age when you're inside the cable car: small, noisy, crampy. The views over the harbor are great, over the city I would say OK depending on where you...More

It took us a while to find this cable car. We guessed that because of the highly windy weather that operations would have been suspended. We went to the ticketing agent on the hill who was reading her book. We greeted her and she quickly...More

Walked down to the port to have a look and saw the cable car. It’s a bit of a trek to get to but worth the walk. Great views over the port and you can see right across Barcelona. Got off and had a drink...More

This is my favourite tourist attraction in Barcelona. The views are amazing and some of the best in Barcelona. It is a really enjoyable experience and I do not regret going on it..

We took the one way trip on the old Barcelona port cable car to Montjuic. We arrived before the opening time of 11am (December) and the staff were rude--one shouted at us when we went behind the red tape he was putting out. But the...More

I agree with both of the above comments. There was quite a queue when we went in October. Trip is short but wonderful views.
