Chilled afternoon

Walked in nice music , friendly barmaid. Let the drinks flow. The bar has the feel of an old fashioned Irish / English country pub.

Only a couple of units from our hotel and what a cracking little find. Lively, great staff and super atmosphere, could forget you're in Barcelona Vs Dublin, especially after a few

I rang up Mccarthy's the day before our visit asking whether they were screening the Man City VS Liverpool game (New Year's Eve). As we had young children with us (boys aged 3 and 7) I also wanted to know ehether they would be allowed in. On the day of our visit, we managed somehow to get a bit lost... More

Found this place accidentally one evening and went in for a drink. Great atmosphere and drinks are pretty cheap compared to the centre. The bar lady (i think her name was Jordan bit apologies if not right) was fantastic, so jovial and chatty. Told us some really good tock bars to try out and how to get to them. Also... More

Although it seemed to me a bit "lame" to go to an Irish pub while in Barcelona, this place is a lot of fun, thanks to the friendly fellow patrons we met. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere while there's a football match on.

Friendly staff and your usual bar flys. Very warm inside but overall a good place to have drinks or beers before a big night out.

I came here to kill time with a friend (we were waiting for a locksmith) This place looks exactly like what one would expect of an Irish Pub. It was pretty empty, but quiet and suitable to talk.

The only problem I seen to have with this bar is that I never know how to leave. I plan on going for one drink and always stay hours later - the staff and owner are so welcoming and they have a nice group of regulars who come in that make this place such an enjoyable evening. The guinness is... More
