One of a number of must-see Gaudi buildings in Barcelona. I recommend pre-booking online which is really straightforward. The tickets cost £108 for two adults and two kids including 5€ each for a fast pass. This wasn't really necessary at the time of the visit as the que wasn't particularly long, but that's not to say access is always swift.... More

Loved this experience, especially the virtual reality tour and audio guide combination included with the standard ticket. I've visited before before this was introduced and the whole experience was so much better this time with this included in the tour. Architecturally the building is stunning. Attention to detail in the attraction is spot on (loved the atmospheric music). Staff were... More

This is simply a must do. Even if you don't like architecture, you will appreciate the extraordinary detail that Gaudi put into this residence. The audio guide is very descriptive and it is an amazing place for any avid photographer. Book in advance to avoid the queues.

Another impressive artwork from Gaudi with the great fantasy... Building like from the fairytale... it's a must see attraction in Barcelona. Thumbs up.

A wonderful self-guided tour. It was a great way to see (and touch) Casa Batllo. The line wasn't too bad to get in and once inside you can take a self-guided tour with provided headset.

This is the second time I visited Barcelona with my kids. The first and the second time, we went to Casa Milá, and loved it. This time, we wanted to visit Sagrada Familia, but didn't get the tickets on time (you really have to book in advance the Sagrada Familia tickets, and we didn't know that). So, with the extra... I won't go into too much detail so not to spoil the inside, but I thoroughly recommend a visit to Casa Batllo. An absolute treat for the imagination. The audio tour with accompanying augmented reality type thing was brilliant. I used the fast pass which really helped as it gets very busy in the queue and around this area. Also,... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
