Decided I wanted to go on the cable car before leaving Barcelona. We walked all the way around the marina area in order to find the cable cars. Queued for a short while prior to booth opening. Then waited for the only lift which takes about 5 people - up and down. Once on the cable car there was nothing... More

The port has a stunning variety of yachts, cruise liners and smaller boats. The shopping centre has a good range of shops and is in a nice location. Good for a walk round if you like shopping in a centre not on the street and a definite area to visit if you like boats.

Lovely place to sit and relax watching the sunset or watching the boats, especially with a glass of sangria.

One of the best in Barcelona. Packed with tourists. Some are just people watching, killing time. A good place to rest while waiting for sunset. Some just arrived from cruising. Some are going to the mall (Maremàgnum).

Always nice to admire the multi-million euro yachts and guess where all that money was made... Clean and fine marina. Lots of good restaurants.

We went for a stroll in the port just before sunset. The scenery is nice and there are quite a lot of nice boats to see.A couple of restaurants with view to the port are available. A bit crowded around dinner time, but less crowded than Las Ramblas.

If you need a break of the crowded city, a walk along the port is recommended. Nice sea view, beach is also close

A relatively quiet area for boutique shopping and rambling amidst the mutli-million dollar yachts. It was a nice interlude on the Bus Touristic route

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
