Parc Guell, Barcelona: Address, Phone Number, Parc Guell Reviews: 4/5

About
Park Guell is one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who projected it in 1900. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, reconizing its patrimonial and cultural value as a symbol of modern architecture, being one of the biggest exponents of Gaudi's modernism. This playful urban park, the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, features peaceful greens, winding paths and many sculptures and mosaics designed by Gaudi himself. We recommend the following options for ensuring that you arrive on time at the Park Guell Monument Precinct: - Metro (green line, get off at Lesseps or Vallcarca). When you leave the station, you’ll have a walk of about 20-25 minutes. - City bus (lines H6 and 32). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 15 minutes. - City bus (lines 92 and 24). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 5 minutes. - Barcelona City Tour and Bus Turistic. When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 10 minutes. - Taxi to Park Guell

Address
Neighbourhood: Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.

Parc Guell is very beautiful and worth taking a visit too while in Barcelona. The tile work all around the parc is very beautiful and you can get some great views of the city (Great photo spot as well!). Plan to spend at least an hour at the parc, but you can easily spend 2 or 3 hours here if you want to sit, relax, and leisurely walk around the parc.

The best experience in Barcelona. Definitely worth visiting even though it's a bit further from the centre. I recommend to take your time and enjoy this magnificent place full of Gaudí's iconic structures and the nature surrounding it.

This is such a wonderful place with so many things to do. Be it Gaudi's Brilliance or walk to the top or city views. Be it scenic beauty or fresh air. I don't know why people have reviewed its middle of nowhere. Its easily connected by all sorts of public transport. 10 Eu ticket is also not expensive for the experience.

Although souvenir shop is small, it serves the purpose. Good place to spend and explore the whole afternoon.

I had heard a lot about this park, everyone says it is a must when in Barcelona. However I was disappointed because it is really small. I expected something big like central park but it is not like this. And you have to pay 10 euro entrance. I thought you could visit the Gaudi houses but no - they are just a shop and one is a super small museum showing just one video. For the museum of Gaudi you have to pay extra! You can take the famous picture with the house and tower on the background but for this you must stay in a line, it is full, everyone is trying to take pictures of it. The park is also completely full of people selling things, from water to handmade stuff. There are almost more vendors than tourists. I didnt expect such situation. It was in December, so it was low season! Plus it wa when Catalunia had restrictions like curfew and discos closed. I do not want to imagine how it is in summer.

Absolutely excellent people to deal with at the Park. We had to cancel once and we got our money back from them. Second time I bought from a place called Headout Bookings. Absolute criminals. I am a well seasoned traveler and bought from a 3rd party website. I was not careful enough. I will buy from the Park directly in April.

Useless to say it’s a must when you visit Barcellona, because Gaudi’s art and architecture are triumphant here. Everything is well kept and the sights on the city are stunning. It’s lovely to go there on foot because you will walk throught little streets that are very pitoresque.

Total disappointment because of many reasons:
1) the price for 1 single ticket is 10€. I think this is too much due to the way the park looks like (untidy + under construction since I don’t know when);
2) nothing to observe. Seriously! Nothing! In addition, the paths are full of street vendors which is annoying;
3) park has only one public toilet with extremely huge line;
4) I wouldn’t come here alone since it is located in the middle of nowhere.
