Called In after a good walk around the gothic quarter. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely tapas and not a bad price either.

We were struggling to decide where to eat and came across the Schilling. As we read the menu outside one diner leaving told us 'it's fabulous' so in we went. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious and the wine perfect. It was very cheap too for Barcelona. Highly recommended to all.

We stumbled upon this place as we began our evening out in Barcelona and it didn't disappoint. We had the Nachos Tapas and Patatas Bravas and a glass of cold Sangria and it hit the spot!

Catalonia not the easiest place for veggies, though it has improved. Trying to find somewhere for lunch in the old part of Barcelona with non veggie friends who wanted fishy tapas. Persuaded them to try this and we were all pleased. I got a veggie burger and they enjoyed their choices. Relaxed atmosphere.

Cafe bar on the busy Carrer de Ferran open from 10am. Draught beer, full bar, coffee, tea service, snacks and a pub style menu. Big windows ideal for people watching while you rest you tired feet. Mix of visitors and locals. Friendly service form a young energetic team. Food fine for a light meal or snack en route. Reasonable prices.... More

Came across this place by accident. We were passing late one Sunday evening and it looked like a great place to get a drink. And we weren't wrong. Nice friendly staff. Would definitely try again!

I went here in July 2014 and I remember it been a nice place, but very over priced. Not sure if they've had new management in, but after visiting at the weekend it's vastly improved! Great coffee, lovely rioja (at 4 euros a glass!) and fantastic brunch. They always have a DJ playing music who has the vibe just right,... More

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
