Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

This is a great bar to stop off at if you enjoy beer. There are loads of different craft beers to try and enjoy.
You can have a tray of small tasters and go from there, or jump in with two feet and try pint after pint.
This is a very quirky bar with a quiet ambiance.

An excellent craft beer bar

When the Barcelona Beer Festival was cancelled we decided to have a DIY three day event.
We visited Olgod about 5pm on a Thursday, and there were only a few people in, although it was filling up when we left an hour or so later. The barman (Hi Mads!) was very friendly and had no problem giving us a small sample to help our buying decisions. There was an excellent range of beers on tap ranging right across the spectrum. There was only cheese and other snack food on offer when we were there. They frequently have Tap Take Overs so check their Facebook page to see what events might be coming up.

Great beer selection

Interesting little bar. No idea what the food is like as we didn't try it. We arrived about midnight on a Saturday and it was full but we quickly got seats. The beer selection was varied and interesting. Seats are fairly basic but comfortable and we had a very pleasant 3 hours, until they closed up at about 2.30am. This is great place to go if you like craft beer. The prices reflect that, but then so does the beer selection.

Really cool place - great beers

The bartenders were really nice and very friendly. But the beers were great. They had a HUGE selection of local beers, a nice combination of IPAs, lagers, and stouts. I have not seen such a huge selection in too many beer pubs.

Good range of beers, divided into categories for sour/ale etc.....one of the best sours we have ever tried Flemish black ale. I also ordered a cocktail on the second round which was very different.....very good member of staff

Popped in here just for one, and ended up staying for hours. Loved the place. The guy behind the bar was super friendly and helpful. What he doesn't know about beer isn't worth knowing. Thanks to the guy with the beard and the hat. You're so cool

We came here for a quick pint as I love craft beer, although my girlfriend isn’t a beer drinker it was nice to see they offered cocktails too. However, when it came to ordering the cocktail I was laughed at by the bartender for some reason? He seemed to find it hilarious that I was ordering a cocktail in a ‘craft beer’ bar, despite offering them on the menu. If I wanted attitude from pretentious hipster bar staff I could have just gone to my local in East London...

Chill place to taste beer

Accidentally saw this place, wanted some beer so we came in. Simple bar with about 30 beer choices! You can take 5 tasting glasses for 15 eur and taste any 5 beers you want. If you are into beer I recommend .
