Lovely street that links the Plaza Major with the Aquaduct. Plenty of interesting buildings, shops and bars on this road.

Pedestrian Street
May 2019
This is the shortest route between the Aqueduct and the Plaza Mayor where the ancient Cathedral is. It is typically full of tourists and so it is lined with souvenir shops, eateries and restaurants, high street brand outlets, etc, all mixed up with ancient buildings, plazas, and monuments. To mention a few: Casa de Los Picos, Church of San Martin, Monument of Juan Bravo, a nice view point name Canaleja.

Despite the frozen morning ( 1 celsius degree) , the visit is highly recomendable. It can be done while you are going to the plaza mayor , the cathedral or , even, the Alcazar.

Happening street

Being the main shopping street, there are many cafes, restaurants and shops. Though there are many tourists, it isn’t too crowded. It is a nice stroll around this area and a good place to purchase souvenirs for family and friends.

Historic Street
Apr 2018 • Couples
This is the Main Street of the City, a pedestrian area stretching from the Plaza Mayor to the Aqueduct with beautiful buildings, statues, sculptures, bustling crowds of locals and tourists, and a variety of shops to browse. A visit to Calle Real is a must for anyone visiting Segovia, enjoy its charms, sit in a cafe and sip a coffee and just people watch. Excellent.
