We did not take a tour of the church or the inside however we did climb the tower and it was well worth it. Great views of the city and interesting exhibits inside.

The building is huge and very ornate with many interesting architectural features It is possible to enter many of the rooms and even climb the dome for a small fee.

Our local guide (Carmen) showed the insights of the buildings and architecture. Fascinating. Look for the hidden frog on the main entrance. It's not easy to find. The frog is a symbol of Salamanca.
