This plaza is gorgeous in the day or at night but definitely come back at night. It’s stunning!! I might even like it more than Madrid’s!

Both in the day and during the evening this is a very impressive town square with some good cafes and bars but a lot of average or empty retail premises. Choose your bar or restaurant carefully.

This plaza is surrounded by beautiful buildings but I have to admit lacked ambiance. We have come across other plazas which had a nicer feel.

Beautiful but little bit crowded and disorganized. However, is one of the touristic places from Salamanca, you can’t miss it.

Architecture at its brilliant Spanish best. Sun shine and crowds all adding to one of Salamanca's Unesco heritage beauties.

Visit several times during your visit - morning, afternoon and especially at night. The light changes the space and is amazing.

Spectacular, beautiful square that was buzzing on our Saturday evening visit. Great for kids to run around as parents have a drink or food
