A gentle stroll down to the Roman bridge. It’s been repaired over the centuries. Walked down underneath to the rivers edge to see a good side view. Exercise a few calories off!

The bridge is beautiful. You have to walk over it - to say you did but also because once on the other side you have outstanding views of the city in all its glory.

There are numerous impressive Roman ruins and this bridge is one of them. It is not nearly the most impressive one, but still worth a visit and also a walk across. Not that there is something special to see on the other side. But, the...More

We drove along Calle Ribera Puenta which is on the town side of bridge - there is on street parking although you’ll be lucky to get a spot but there are large car parks a bit further along past the automobile museum. This pedestrianised bridge...More

Bring your camera! Once crossing the bridge from the city, this is a great spot to take a few photos as you have the beautiful historic bridge in the foreground with the impressive architecture of the old buildings in the background. Definitely worth a visit.

Although much altered, repaired and modified, it is remarkable to be able to see (and walk across) what is still essentially a Roman construction from the time of Trajan. Now pedestrianised. At night, it is beautifully illuminated.
