Leon is a city with some gems, but be prepared to walk through streets covered in graffiti to get to them. The Romanesque Basilica is good but nowhere up to the jaw-dropping standard of Poitiers in France. However, the museum for which you pay extra...More

A very nice tour. Staff helped my wide, in a wheelchair, to enter the pantheon. She got a private tour in English. Very nice to visit. Claim they might have the Holy Grail ... Nice story ...

You can’t tell how great of an attraction this is from the outside. There’s some fantastic wall murals. Well worth the five euros. There is a guided English tour in the morning and then one in the afternoon.

The tours in English are infrequent, but well worth the wait, it was the highlight of Leon for us.The guide was good, and answered questions fully as well as giving a thorough explanation on the tour.
