Leon Cathedral is a splendid piece of religious architecture and is a highlight of any visit to Leon. With the Plaza Regla and Plaza Puerta Obispo just outside the main frontage, there is a wonderfully open aspect that sets the cathedral off perfectly.

Once you spend enough time Europe there exists the possibility of "cathedral overload", all so beautiful in their own way. Maybe that's when its a good idea to investigate the details, thats where the stained glass got me. Absolutely wonderful, day and night! Don't remember...More

On cathedrals trip of Northern Spain having done previous trips in France and England. This one blew me away. So much stained glass, much cleaned/restored, well preserved stonework. Clearly a landmark loved by its citizen. A must see.

Been to several on our travel through N Spain and would rate this as one of the best. Entry is 6 euros which includes a voice machine . Stunning glass windows.

This place is located in the city centre. From outside you can see the enormous building on the other hand inside you can see small pieces of beautiful stain glass.

The Cathedral is one of the best I have been to in Europe. It is large and has a great history. The hand held tour guide is excellent. The stained glass windows are exceptional. Easy to spend an hour there. Recommend.

There was a queue, but it moved quickly. A rather somber interior apart from the stained glass windows which were numerous.

One of my favourite spots in León. You can't imagine all the majesty you can find inside. There are some hours where the entrance is free so have a look in advance. Totally recommend it

Amazing Cathedral with stained glass everywhere. Liked the audio guide type of tour which allows a self paced tour, and allows you to stop along the way just to gaze and admire the architecture. This is a must see in Leon.
