I was two hours here and I could stay longer… The collection is AMAZING and a must-see if you like tapestry, embroidery and architecture. I was the only visitor and it's a shame, because the museum is fantastic. The highlights of the collection are works...More

If you have a Cathedral ticket and time enough, go for it, why not... But compared to the same kind of museum in Zaragoza, this one is very poor. Dedicated entrance fee is only 2 Euro, but don't expect a big deal...

The cathedral ticket also provides entry to the nearby Tapestry Museum, but few visitors seem to have either the time, energy or inclination to go there – a great pity, really. The museum has a spectacular monument in its foyer, and the range of tapestries...More

This is a relatively small museum with some beautiful tapestries and many embroideries (mainly ecclesiastical) dated from 14th-18th century. The building itself is fascinating, parts of which are medieval. The museum is well presented and information is given about each item.

We came across this museum by accident. The Colegio is an ancient building not far from the Cathedral that has been carefully restored and now houses the Toledo Cathedral's collection of tapestries and liturgical vestments. The exhibits are beautifully displayed in several rooms on two...More
