Impressive old palace but limited access

Door was open so we had a look inside. Very impressive palace but heavily renovated I suspect. Not a lot to see but it's free, so worth a quick look and photo stop.

Palacio de Fuensalida is next door to St Thomas Church. The entry is free when it is open. The ground floor only can be viewed at present, but it is well worth visiting. This Moorish palace now serves as the office of the President of Castile.

It is the 15th century mansion of the Counts of Fuensalida. One of the best examples of Mudejar architecture in Toledo. As the door was open, we just stepped in and had a look. The Palace of Fuensalida is located in the Plaza Conde, next to the church of Santo Tomé. It was built in the Mudejar style in the middle of the 15th century.
