The only remaining Synagogue in Toledo with only 2 Jewish families now residing in the City it is now purely a tourist attraction. Much to see here & learn particularly regarding the Muslim architect. A guided tour is definitely an advantage.

A small building combining Jewish and Christian elements. It was an interesting building. It is worth a short visit when you are passing by.

We were decided to pay the three euros and check out the inside of this old synagogue. It was not worth the money. The signage in English is poor to non-existent. There was nothing to explain the history. Inside was empty. Poke your head in...More

I saw this former synagogue as part of a day excursion from Madrid with Amigo tours. This building is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. It contains influences of Muslim culture as both the Jewish and Muslims worked together when building...More

From the outise you see a nice garden with some places to sit on the shadow when the sun is high. Once you get inside, the surprise is notable. Just take your time to look at all the details, the roof, the colums... You must...More

Not a physically impressive place ... But when you consider it has been used by Christians, Jews and Muslims as a place of worship for over 1000 years you get a sense of reverential respect.

The name "Synagogue de Santa Maria la Blanca" certainly doesn't sound like the name of a synagogue, but like most of the synagogues in Spain, it was also a mosque and later a church. In fact, it is built in the style of a mosque,...More

It's beautiful and really something to see. You can see the synagogue aspects and the Church aspects come together.

The Synagogue of Saint Marie the White is a good place to visit and understand the local culture from Israel here in Toledo as part of the local history- and all the different “owners” of this place from time to time...

This is one of seven specific monuments in Toledo that you can visit with a “tourist bracelet”, which you can buy from any one of the seven monuments. It’s cheaper than buying tickets for the seven places separately. And it really is a bracelet –...More

There is almost nothing to see and it has no atmosphere or sense of history.
