Good photo spot

Another very good photo spot in Toledo apart from the Mirador del Valle, just cross the bridge and take pictures with the Old Town on the background. Reachable easily on foot.

Nice

We drove by this bridge on arrival to the city of Toledo, it was like the first welcome, as we went round the city before entering. Seeing the bridge close up is nice.

Beautiful Bridge
Dec 2019
The bridge is the entrance to the old town of Toledo.
Views from the bridge are beautiful, the trail under the bridge is amazing, the roman arch, the decor on the bridge, the lights illuminate the bridge at night - all these things make the bridge a must visit spot.
Visited in morning and after sunset, great spot to take photos at either time, morning is probably better.

Fortified Stoone Bridge
Aug 2019
This is the most heavily "guarded" bridge over the Tagus River. You must cross it for a panoramic view of the city and return on the bridge further upstream.

A great entrance to this charming town!
Dec 2019
What a wonderful entrance into the charming old town of Toledo. Take your time and enjoy the views while strolling across it. Luckily the flow of tourists will take you right over it from the train station if you follow the crowds. Also, there are escalators from the bridge into town that you can take instead of hiking up a whole lotta steps. There aren't great signs directing you so ask someone if you need them!

What a View! What memories!
Dec 2019
Out of all the cool things we did in the city, just standing on this bridge enjoying the views and soaking up the history was a precious highlight. We made sure we started our visit to the old city here, and I recommend this. We then walked up the old steps along the castle wall. I know there are escalators nearby, but we wanted to feel like we worked for the high ground a bit, and the climb from the bridge to the city was not hard at all. We ended the night at the bridge, Christmas lights twinkling, and that was a whole new view and memory.

Beautiful brdige
Dec 2019 • Family
Beautiful bridge just a few minutes walk from the Toledo train station, we used Google maps but you could just follow the crowds. It was strung up with Christmas lights and looked amazing. Most people entered the city this way but we walked all the way to the Mirador del Valle from here, about half an hour or so. Lovely views even if you just walk a few minutes away from the bridge, and no crowds.

Beautiful Roman bridge. To get a better perspective of it you can walk underneath through the river path.
