The best entrance to Toledo. Near to the escalators if you don't want a climb.

If you come from the train station make sure you turn left at the roundabout between the station and town and walk along the river. After a few minutes walking you will see this old pedestrian bridge which is the best way to come into Toledo and sets the scene for a fabulous day. The bridge is lovely and the... More

Beautiful medieval city, the bridge is very nice, great views! Be ready to walk and climb. We loved it but it is a lot of walking. I can imagine it would be very hot and crowded in the spring/summer months.

Beautiful bridge, and great vista from there. They have a cool zipline that goes across the river too if you're into that!

When in Madrid, you need to stop by Toledo to visit the churches, museums, and synagogues. This site is one of the oldest in town. The bridge dates back to the 14th century. It has beautiful views of Toledo. Also the river and dam is a beautiful site to see. There is also a long zip line if your are... More

We walked across the old part of Toledo and had to cross this rather long bridge. It has a nice view and was a pleasant stroll. We saw some people doing a flying fox ride across the river. Good end to our tour of Toledo.

We were on a tour of the city of Toledo known as the "City of Three Cultures" as the Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together for centuries here. We finished the tour at this bridge which was constructed in the late 14th century by an archbishop to provide access to the old town from the west. The medieval bridge spans... More

Be sure to walk to the river and find this beautiful bridge. There are photo opportunities from both sides of the bridge depending on the time of day. There is a zipline that runs across the river and you can take photos near this point.
