I came here on a Monday and was disappointed that it was closed. I forgot to check its opening day & time. The exterior building was impressive. Took some photos before moving on.

Free admission on Sundays between 10a.m. and 2p.m., so go then if you get fed up of paying for everything in this historic city! Displays ranging from nearly mediaeval to modern military.

OK to spend an hour looking around. And great value if you're the wrong side of 65 as entry is free. A lot of informative exhibits about warfare and armies.

Great history of Spanish military. Great artifacts but it had more on the Spanish colonization of Latin America. Such an interesting time but not much on it that I saw.

It is a huge building with 4 floors filled with artifacts, visual displays, films, etc. etc. covering Spanish military history and Spanish history in general. What surprised me most though was the tiny corner with basically no information at all about the most significant period...More

Yes, there are old army weapons, uniforms etc. on display in it, but you'll also learn a lot about Spanish history and Monarchy, maybe even more than in the Royal Palace in Madrid. Entry is only 5 EUR. I recommend about two hours of time...More

Tried to visit the Alcázar but we were turned away by a rude member of staff. We went based on the opening times we found on the online site. When we were arrived we asked a man at the entrance about entering and he couldn’t...More
