The museum was of moderate interest though not well organized. We particularly sought more on the Spanish Civil War, but couldn't find much. I think the Spanish are embarrassed about Generalissiom Franco so prefer not to feature him, though he did win a bloody civil...More

Very interesting museum all about Spanish history and its armies, weapon etc. Only a few euros to get in so very good value for money. There is something here for everyone.

The GF and I had previously come to Toledo but had missed the museum last time having walked around it. Sunday entrance (closed Mondays) was free and well worth it. Signage in museum was translated and very interesting

The Alcazar sits at the top of Toledo. There is an entrance close to all the tour buses where elscalators will wisk you up to the top. This is the best way to tour the city as all you need to do then is to...More

Interior not what you’d expect, it’s a vast space with not much inside, and lots of rooms closed off but worth the entry fee and free for kids under 15. It’s quite interesting if you’re into militaria but teenagers found it a bit boring.

The building is beautiful. It is really a dominant of the city. The museum is huge, if you would want to read it all, it is at least for 5hours. The content of it is more for army fans.

The alcazar is one of the most iconic buildings in Toledo, and for that this museum is worth a look. It's quiet large, so give yourself time. I wasn't too interested in the military history, but this museum does have some interesting artifacts. The garden...More
