Wonderful military exhibition (with many references to the Royal Family). We only spent the afternoon here and really didn't do it justice. There is so much to see and learn here and very well laid out. All in English as well which was much appreciated.

The building itself is huge and very unique. If you have the time, you should also check out the contents.

I love a place that is utilized by locals. This is one of those. We took the elevator up -- I remember it being one floor above the cafeteria. There, at each window overlooking the city, were chairs where one can sit and enjoy solitude...More

Impressive building and impressing collections. If you want to know more about Spain: history, military, politic, social, visit to Alcazar it's a must. Be aware that you need more than 2-3 hours. Even for a foreigner who knows nothing about Spain is captivating starting with...More

this is more of the military museum covering spanish history and their victories in battlefield etc. Might be interesting for Spanish people but not of much interest to foreigners

Everything about the Alcazar is impressive. We spent a lot of time here and could have spent even more.
