If you have a sunny day it's absolutely worth the walk around. Beautiful building and some great views of the coast. Follow the path down and there are some seals to see in an sea water zoo type thing. If you've ever watched the TV show "Gran Hotel" (the Spanish version of Downton Abbey) they filmed here for their building.... More

Lovely house with stunning views, cheap entrance fee but note that the tour is only in Spanish. Still worth going for non Spanish speakers, but would have been good if they had handouts in English so that we all understood the history. The peninsula is pretty and gardens are large with unbelievably good views.

This is a must go to whilst visiting Santander. Easy to get to by bus (or taxi) you won't regret it. Set high up overlooking the City, the Palace and the spectacular surrounding views will take your breath away.

Great views. This place is awesome to take a walk or exercise, there is a beach and plenty of spots to take awesome pictures. Will definitely recommend visiting. Was not able to enter the Palacio as it just closed when I got there.

I was here for a conference and I'm truly grateful to the organisers for having it here. This is such a grand venue for any function. It's well-preserved with modern facilities on the inside. I got to have a look at the royal audience rooms as well as the meeting rooms. There's also free wi-fi throughout most of the rooms.... More

Nice place to take a walk, nice gardens with good view of the sea. The bar/cafe in the old stables was very pore though.

The palace is easily accessible from the main walkway which follows the coastline and the numerous beaches in santander, there is a small train which can take you through the park to the palace, once there the views of the city and its surrounding islands is great, the grounds are very well maintained, well worth a look!!!

There is free parking near to the entrance. The grounds surrounding the Palacio are very nice with grass, trees, birds and lovely views across the bay and the channel that the ferry takes when entering the port. There are a couple of places inside the grounds near the entrance where you can get a coffee and snack.
