More than town itself, the impression leaves the valley. Just go uphill the Ortova to the direction of el teide. Around 7-8 pm you will be to see “how the clouds are born”. Very nice view just few minutes driving uphill every evening... to go...More

Historic town close to Puerto de la Cruz and well worth a visit (easy to reach by car or frequent bus service) Plenty of historic buildings, great views and plenty of shops for those who must.....Lots to see

a good way to see the island is by coach trips plenty of stops and the views are brilliant. we went on six different trips well worth the money and its safer than by car

yes there are a number of trecking companies that pick you up inPDLC and both transport you to and guide you round the valley for 25-40 euros brochures in german

I would suggest one. While it is possible to travel throughout the valley on your own with a guide book as a companion, I think a far better experience would be had with a guide. Local guides run the range from... More
