Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really well planned out grounds with decent habitats for the animals. The shows are the highlight. Plan to see them all - but get to each one half an hour before for the best seats. The trainers clearly have great relationships with the sealions and dolphins. Informative videos too.
Here's my top tip. If you don't like getting absolutely soaked OR you have toddlers that WILL get scared... DO NOT sit in the seats marked Splash Zone- especially in the killer whale show. The amount of numpties who stormed off angrily after choosing to sit right at the front - or having to escort a screaming toddler out was pitiful. But very amusing for us - so please do, if you like to give others a chuckle at your poor judgement.

This was my 3rd visit to Loro, although quite some spacing between them (‘91, ‘17 and today).
The park is beautifully clean, and the exhibits are easy to see in to. The shows were excellent, and it was nice to see that they have changed a little to incorporate more educational points about the animals.
There were plenty of pit stops around the park for toilets, drinks and food.

My one gripe (and even more so that in 2017) was the sheer volume of people in the park; the entrance timings could be spaced a little better as it was so crowded in certain areas. This was exacerbated by the fact our daughter is currently in a wheelchair and moving among the throngs of people was hard. Equally, if you are pushing a pram/wheelchair, it’s accessible, but oh my days it’s HILLY! Plus point though… lots of accessible seating at the shows. Swings and roundabouts!

Well worth a visit.

Amazing, one of the best days out I’ve had, watching all the shows and walking round and seeing all the animals was amazing,

I was a little unsure on the seeing the orcas at first, but you can see how much these animals are cared for, loved, and protected by the trainers, and the show was amazing been so close to these spectacular creatures was unreal and a once in a life time thing to see
And make sure you sit in the splash zone, you get soaked but it makes your experience

The dolphin show was another favourite of mine, I have always loved dolphins and to see them so happy doing what they love is Amazing

I would defo go back to see this all again if I go back to Tenerife

Lovely day out but took 2 hours to get there and get back as we are based in Playa Las America’s but that’s not related to our experience in the park. If you are close to Puerto del la Cruz, it’s worth the trip but keep in mind it is a full day out if you travel by bus.

The park was very clean and busy but we still had a nice day out. I had my reservations about the orcas and dolphins however after doing some research the park is doing great things for these animals and are being well taken care of. Great place for all ages. Food was also lovely.

I would absolutely recommend visiting this park if your holiday is on the island of Tenerife. Anyone concerned about the Sealife shows exploiting the animals, should read the history on the conservation records of this beautiful park. There's loads of places to have food and toilets, all the animals looked very healthy and well kept.
My only grumble is that the map and signs are really confusing and sometimes contradict each other.

Beware of the false parking people! The Loro Park has it’s own parking. There are some criminals scamming people and saying the Loro Parking is full when it is not so that you would park on their parking. Thugs.

We absolutely loved the shows! We even watched the sea lions twice! It was amazing! I don’t like birds but if you do there was hundreds of them. It was busy but not chaotic. Food was average and only a couple of options available, quite pricey. I would definitely recommend.
