We thought to drive here, but there is a barrier across the road about 5km to the lighthouse, and you have to do the rest of the trip by bus. A hairy drive which eventually takes you down to the rocky end of north west...More

This place took us by surprise. It surpassed our expectations - we loved the drive from Puerto del a Cruz. The route was scenic and roads were windy. It was amazing witnessing the changes in weather conditions - sunny and blue sky through overcast and...More

Interesting drive but not really as scary as some make out. The road is wide enough for two cars and with a good surface. Car parking at the end is limited so probably best to get there earlyish. Interesting lighthouse for a quick photo but...More

Stunning views, nice little beach so definitely worth stoping if you in the area. It was very windy when I visited but I'm glad I stopped by for a walk and take few photos.

After an exciting and beautiful drive up in the high mountains, you arrive at Faro de Teno. A dramatic and beautiful place. Walk down to the right side of the car park and sit and watch the spectacle of the Atlantic waves.

we were there on a windy day in early march. The North of Tenerife: clouds and rain, the South of Tenerife: sunshine. The location is at the outmost western end of Tenerife. Everything there is volcanic rocks. The most impressive to me were the locals...More

I loved this place, beautiful coast. And the trip to this place is amazing too, through the high mountains and through a compleately dark tunnel.

Note: road is closed on weekends and holidays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (there should be a connecting bus, 1 Euro) Nice view to both sides, lighthouses (old and new one), though access to lighthouses is closed. There is also small rocky beach nearby,...More
