the public bus service is excellent. come out of hotel down to the main road and theres a bus stop to your right about a hundres yards..this takes you to san juan, los cristianos, olaya las Americas etc, frequent and reliable and about 2 euros. get the bus on the other side and it takes you to a lovely little beach at los gigantes and theres a gorgeous little harbour here where you can get a boat trip to see dolphins and pilot whales. cheap about 15 euros each ic a drink and snacks.
