First time visit at night went to watch the sunset- amazing, then wait ed and watched all the stars appear - well worth it, only ever visited in daylight previously.

27€ for a round trip on the cable car nearly to the summit, I think you have to pay extra when at the top to hike further to the volcano itself? Beautiful views above the clouds, can be hard to breathe due to altitude!

Impressive trip, landscape and the view at the top. Pitty that you need a permit to go up al the way to the top. You can not get this permission there.

Go online , google Volcano Teide, You can apply there as well as buy cable car tickets
