Coming south of El Golfo, more cliff-lined coastline. Next to the parking place a deep cleft through which the waves are rushing. At least during our visit the effect was not that peculiar.

We visited some manmade attractions at the other end of the Island which cost upto 9 Euros per person but they were not as good as these free cliffs and exciting waves. Combine your visit with the green lake and cafes at El Golfo for a splendid few hours

A short visit but worth the slight detour from El Golfo. The power of the sea in full majesty. Hopefully you get there when the crowds are thin. 15 mins is all it takes. Very picturesque.

Visited at a quiet time of day which meant we were able to walk round the paths easily and spend time enjoying the waves. Really dramatic and shouldn't be missed especially as it's a FREE attraction!

A great place to spend an hour exploring and looking at the views, shame that some of the places were blocked off due to falls in the rocks that need to be repaired.

Went expecting great walls of water rising from the blowholes but the state of tide was fairly low and so not much activity but the surges of water inside the caverns were impressive,

This was a little disappointing. You really need a rough day to appreciate it fully as there was not much action in the so called blowholes on the day we visited. The viewing areas are a little tight so try to go early morning or late afternoon as coaches stop here too.

Definitely worth seeing, ideally at high tide or when there's a bit of a rough sea happening. The colours of the blue water and the sight and sound of the waves crashing into the caves and up the blow holes are quite spectacular and it is easy to spend a fair bit of time here.

Thanks to the coastal road you reach the Los Hervideros site easily if you happen to be staying in a hotel on Lanzarote's south coast. When we visited mid-morning in January, the car park was large enough to accomodate visitors cars. That may not be so easy later in the season. That is also a time when you will have... More
