Magnificent home and gardens open to public (museum, bar and restaurant). Built for Omar Sharif by Jesus Soto and influenced by Cesar Manrique (responsible for almost every architectural tourist attraction on Lanzarote). One of Lanzarote's top 10 I reckon.

Strange architectural style, built into the side of a volcano incorporating lava tunnels and with many tiers and staircases. Not at all wheelchair friendly so beware. Really interesting history linked to a renowned architect (Manrique) whose buildings are dotted around the island. It was very...More

Cut into the natural larva rock of Lazarote, this piece of 1970’s architecture is unique and awe inspiring. Using the name “museum” doesn’t do the attraction justice at all. It’s far more interesting than a museum, and something you’re never going to see the like...More

We ate at the restaurant while staying in a villa in Nazaret. We booked online a few hours before heading up but definitely would've been fine without. We were told we could have a wander around and a drink before food and enjoyed some cocktails...More

The restaurant is good - not “cheap” but we found very good value for money. Not really for snacks - more to take your time over good food and good wine with a great ambience.
