Simple plaza with varied architecture( traditional, and Art Nouveau) at the top the Town Hall ( worth checking to see if tours are on to see inside) and cathedral at bottom. Many tourists hang around large green painted metal dogs!

A pretty large square between St Ana Cathedral, El Palacio del Obispo, and Las Casas Consistoriales. Around the square are some monumental palaces.
This square is "guarded" by the monument of Canarian dogs, from where comes the name of the island.
