Came here nearly every day on our hols in one form or another for breakfast, lunch and / or tea, or just as a through-walk to other places. It's absolutely buzzing with people but so spacious that you don't feel unsafe or crowded at all. Lots to do and see, and relax with.

A lovely square. Many cafes. Old geezers playing dommis. The Sunday we were there, it was the finish of an international triathlon. Great stuff. We ate at Jackys lovely lunch

They hold concerts here at times. But that is not what I rate. The park is not in any way different from your average grass-playground-benches-bus stop park. A detour here, if you're not on your way to the museum which is great, would be a waste of time.

This is a lovely square, within easy walking distance of the port, filled with cafes and bars. There is also a large shopping mall close by.

We were lucky and arrived here for the annual festival so the area was buzzing with thousands of locals dressed as hippies and such .restaurants all the way round and plenty of shops . We do, do fancy places as treats but jackys Chinese restaurant has a massive menu so if you snacking or fancy a meal at Santa Catalina... More

We stopped here to visit the tourist bureau and then enjoyed a cup of coffee at one of the cafes in the park. It is a great people watching place. A short rest then then you're off the the beach of Las Canteras.

It is a pretty average place. There is a nice statue of a cat lady who was a Las Palmas benefactor, but nothing else. I'm not sure why is this such a hyped attraction. Buses and taxis depart from here so location wise it can be considered quite central and important, but tourist attraction wise is nothing special here.

Most of the buses around the city and on to the other attractions on the island run from the bus station there, others go from San Telmo. Get a carnet of tickets for the yellow buses around the city, works out at one euro per journey which is excellent value. Blue buses take you out of the city, try the... More
