We perform checks on reviews
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The museum is still closed, it was really the only museum, other than Santa Anna, I wanted to see. It says it will, reopen in June, but looking at the work that has to be done, I can't see it myself. Very disappointed.

Amazing artist and great pieces exhibited there... must see. Eve though is a small site, gardens outside are beautiful and the feel is very relaxed and comfortable.

One of the best painters of Gran Canaria, if not the best.
The museum is placed in a very beauty ambience, Pueblo Canaria in Doramas Park.
Inside you find a lot of works of this remarcable painter, and the ambience of the beauty epoch when he lived.
Of course it deserve a visit, and I warmly recommend it.

I can't really score this as on 24th April 2018 it is still closed and no obvious signs as to when it will reopen. If you want to visit we suggest you check with Tourist Info first!

we were disappointed to find this museum closed but i guess work must be done and out of season is best. But we were amazed by the beautiful park that it sits in and was glad we made the stop

No wonder why this museum is positively rated on TripAdvisor! It is quite small but highly interesting!

Upon arrival we found a little note on the door: “closed for maintenance”. At the tourist office a very helpful girl told us the museum would be closed for at least a year, with some of the paintings on display in a museum in the old quarters of town.

All late 1800s through to about 1935. His style changes visibly as you go through it. The rooms are themed oncontent rather than date. Cheap to enter.
Nestor certainly had a thing about painting eyes!!

Museo Néstor is a museum about paintings of Nestor Martínez, a painter of Gran Canaria. It is located in the Doramas Park, in the main city of the Gran Canaria island, Las Palmas. Here you can see some of the paintings of the artist, thanks to his brothers, especially the Poem of Sea and The Poem of Earth, 8 pieces, which are great! The best of the exposition!
