The nice walk from Puerto Mogan to Veneguera beach is no longer public. 2 Huge steel gates at the Mogan end and wire fence that would stand the comparison with the Berlin Wall, augmented with countless signs make it abundantly clear: no trespassing. And that...More

This was a beautiful beach that we had pretty much to ourselves, I counted 12 people. Take the back roads out of the village and west down the valley and follow the dried up river bed for 10kms. 4x4 best, but we saw lots of...More

We went to visit place during our weeks holiday. Nice small town with few basic shops. We went to market on one of the days and you get usual market stuff from the stalls. Worth a visit.

We walked to Veneguera Beach from Puerto Mogan for a change of scenery. The walk was around 2,5 hours each way and when we got to the beach there were no facilities. We had brought lunch and all other requirements so this was no inconvenience....More

Its about 4 Kilometers down a progressively worsening narrow road/track. The scenery on the way is quite nice but the road is so bumpy its hard to appreciate it. When you eventually get there its a fairly scenic pebble beach about 1/4 mile long but...More
