The statues are tall and striking and by the side of the road and that's pretty much that. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with them, but realistically how long can you spend looking at two statues? We looked at them for a while,...More

This viewpoint is your reward for the steep drive up the mountain road towards Betancuria. Statues are impressive, as is the view.

These two statues are just on the side of the road easily accessible, but with limited parking. They look impressive against the stoney backdrop of the Fuerteventura landscape.

Two giant statues of the ancient kings of the island guarding the highest point of the road. The statues are interesting, but the views are absolutely amazing. A 'must stop' place en route from Corralejo to Betancuria.

We happened to visit these on the day they hold a ceremony here. They are great and make for some fun photo opportunities.

These statues will amaze anyone. They are tall and Roman like. The Guanche kings Guize and Ayose have a history in Fuertaventura.
