We found this place both visually astonishing and diverse. I would recommend spending at least 1.5 hours to really appreciate both the old and the new sections and the various walking routes. The place is both a nicely designed botanic garden and an impressive set...More

If you're told "let's go and visit an ancient quarry" maybe you don't expect too much. WRONG! this is really a special place, very easy to reach from the "ronda", the road around Ciutadela. Be careful -the official name is Pedreres de s'Hostal, not Lithica....More

What a place this is. A proper hidden gem. An old disused quarry with wonderful botanical gardens attached, The quarry itself is fascinating and sculptural with so much to see. It's also mind boggling to see how the stone was hand cut in the pre-machinery...More

Went here on a slightly cloudy day and loved it. (Helped that on this day it was free entry too) The gardens are a delight, well worth going off on the green detour routes but don’t ignore the red hand signs! We found a few...More

Out of the ordinary sightseeing roads for menorca visitors. After all calas and archaeological parks you would be happy to see something so special. Believe me this is a place you don't want to miss on.

This was a real find on our trip to Menorca. We (husband and 3 and 5 year old) decided to walk from the nearest bus stop in Cuitadella (Via Perimetral) probably about1mile. On the way we passed a sign about prehistoric remains and spent an...More

An old quarry that has been converted to the most wonderful gardens, complete with a maze, water gardens and great views. Lots of photos opportunities, and the perfect place to walk among some great foliage. Does not seem to attract hoards of people so very...More

We visited this amazingly unique place on a trip from Mahon to Ciutadella, as it's only a short distance away from the latter. The quarry ceased to function in 1994 and since then, Lithica, a non-profit organization and a team of volunteers have worked to...More

No as Espai says there is not cafe, and another thing to be aware of is that there are no toilets apart from those at the entrance.
