Decided to visit on our last day in Ciutadella and was not disappointed. We walked from the city, took us about 45 minutes but bearable in cooler October weather - in the summer probably not so! Spent a good 2 hours here but definitely could...More

Amazing place to visit. You can walk around the old style garden and enjoy the horticultural area then go look in the huge open mine and labyrinth..

A real surprise to find this still-working quarry as a tourist destination. On the outskirts of Ciutadella [no bus service, but within walking distance of the town, and about 10 Euro for a taxi [3 people and mobility scooter]. A large area of old quarry,...More

This was the first, and possibly only, time we've visited a quarry on our travels. It's a totally fascinating place to see - beautifully maintained and well signposted. It's very tranquil yet awe-inspiring at the same time. The quarry itself is massive and the gardens...More

It is difficult to believe there is so much to see in such a small area. Finding it is not easy but worth the effort.

We'd seen the reviews about this place, so we decided to take a trip out from Cuitadella to see it. It's located in a worked out stone quarry just off the ronda ring road around Cuitadella but isn't easy to find as it's not signposted...More

A Menorcan treasure tucked away. Once a busy industrial rock quarry, now a place of peace and tranquility with lots of history and great walks through botanical gardens planted within the maze of the old quarry excavations. This is a really big site, you will...More

We found this place both visually astonishing and diverse. I would recommend spending at least 1.5 hours to really appreciate both the old and the new sections and the various walking routes. The place is both a nicely designed botanic garden and an impressive set...More

If you're told "let's go and visit an ancient quarry" maybe you don't expect too much. WRONG! this is really a special place, very easy to reach from the "ronda", the road around Ciutadela. Be careful -the official name is Pedreres de s'Hostal, not Lithica....More

What a place this is. A proper hidden gem. An old disused quarry with wonderful botanical gardens attached, The quarry itself is fascinating and sculptural with so much to see. It's also mind boggling to see how the stone was hand cut in the pre-machinery...More

No as Espai says there is not cafe, and another thing to be aware of is that there are no toilets apart from those at the entrance.

It’s open every day from 9.30 - 14.30 then 16.30 until sun set. Except Sunday’s and rain won’t stop them. There is a we site for more details. Hope that helps
