The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma is a beautiful Gothic church. Had a lovely walk around there for the sunset. I would recommend a visit if you are in Majorca.

Never had we had to pay to enter a church before, so we didn't bother. A great shame. Hated the beggars, peddlars and Disney characters hanging around the area, what's that go to do with a religious place.

Really a very impressing cathedral! A very wide, long and high church room, with several chapels around with lot of carvings covered in gold, statues, huge candelabrums. The Canopy over the High Altar is especially impressing, designed by Antonio Gaudi 1904-1914. Visit is a must...More

Most beautiful cathedral! Absolutely stunning. Vibrant colours in the windows with the sun shining through cast a beautiful glow over everything.

The cathedral was absolutely breathtaking! The stained glass Windows were gorgeous and provided prisms across the church. The different coves and adoration spaces are beautiful.

The church is very impressive. Tall, elegant gothic columns, bright stained glass windows and plenty of ornate chapels. Our favourite chapel was the modern one by Miguel Barcelona. It’s a depiction of the feeding of the 5000 in ceramics. Amazing and beautiful.

I was looking forward to my visit to Palma Cathedral and I wasn't disappointed. 7€ to get in but I was happy to pay this if it goes towards the upkeep. Lots of artefacts to look at and amazing stained glass. The sun was shining...More

The cathedral is a very large building especially for a city like Palma. The decoration, monument, painting etc inside are really beautiful and well maintained. It is a must see in Palma

Beautiful, I have visited the Cathedral several times over the years, but this was the first time we had to pay, cannot say I agree with that for a church, sign of the times I suppose

If you are in Palma this is a must see. The cathedral is beautiful and the inside is almost as impressive as the outside. The windows are wonderful.

The outside looks amazing, and has a fantastic position, however inside having paid €7 each I was not that impressed. Yes it had all the trappings, but it was just too much gold. I just don't get spending all that money on a church for...More
