Catedral de Santa Maria is much more than your typical cathedral visit. The cathedral is undergoing a very long renovation and this allows you to gain a real sense of the history, culture and architecture. From the ancient foundations, you climb up through the history...More

You need to take a tour at the moment as renovations are underway...and have been for the last 23 years! It is really interesting...we took one with a trip up the tower which gave great views. Very interesting to watch the workmen restoring the building...More

The cathedral hosts a museum and it is located in a very central position of the city surrounded by green spaces. Massive and astonishing piece of art, definitely worth to see!

Huge and nicely renovated. Worth a visit if you are in Vitoria. We just visited on our own. Nice architecture & decorations.

Not long ago the old cathedral of Vitoria was nearly falling due to long standing problems in the foundations of the temple. After that, it has been renovated and it flaunts itself beautifully. A visit to the tower is worth to enjoy the views

A nice cathedral, quite subtle for a Spanish cathedral by all accounts. With a look if you are in the area
